Debora Manetti is an Italian visual and type design expert based in Florence. Co-founder of the award-winning type foundry Zetafonts, she has shaped branding and typographic culture for over 25 years. Her typefaces include Panforte, Salad, CocoMat, A Day Without Sun, Freehand, and other custom type families.
As Program Director of TypeCampus, she promotes design education and typographic awareness within the global creative community. Deeply engaged in design culture, she also curates events and initiatives that encourage dialogue around communication and social impact.
She is the founder of Fight for Kindness, an international campaign that celebrates World Kindness Day through typographic messages promoting empathy and inclusion. She regularly serves on international juries, including Indigo Design Awards, C2A Creative Communication Award, DNA Paris, Creative Review, ADCI Award, and Poster Heroes. Her projects have received multiple recognitions for excellence in typography and brand design.
She is the author of Visual Voices for Change (2025), NOW more than ever (2024), and Posters for Human Kind (2023), and co-author of The Counter Spaces, Type Trends (2023), The New Normal, Type Trends (2022), The Post Pandemic, Type Trends (2021), and Ego[n] Magazine (2007).
