Judas Priest’s album and merchandise design have always been highly creative. For this red vinyl limited-edition album release of Screaming for Vengeance, I set out to create a colourful design that is a unique blend of elements from the ’80s, infused with an Art Deco feel and combined with a political and societal narrative. This album’s key themes include injustice, societal issues, love, space, and government control. The album’s front cover is a visual representation of Judas Priest’s affinity for metal and political thoughts. This narrative echoes the title song,‘Screaming for Vengeance'.

Once I survived cancer, I returned to university to pursue a Bachelor of Design with a major in Communication Design. I have held various roles in the publishing process, including cartographer, layout designer, and permissions researcher. I am also a passionate photographer. In 2010, I returned to study for a diploma at RMIT and have a deep appreciation for all creative fields, including art, design, film, photography, music, and writing. I get much exhilaration from photography and graphic design, and I aim to become a book designer.
