We designed a sub-identity for the Minnesota Department of Corrections Office of Financial Management including a series of icons for key service areas, a mission and vision summary sheet, and a system for internal templates. These elements created clarity, simplicity, and consistency across the department. Next, we used the new system to communicate changes regarding a policy for Incarcerated Persons (IP) in a positive and cohesive way. This included a friendly and eye-catching design with clear language applied to a series of tools to launch the updated policy.
