The ‘Move It Bop-tastic Melbourne Art Walk’ is a fresh take on a printed tour guide, where art lovers follow a map to view Melbourne’s abundant free public art. Each spread features dynamically designed interactions between typographic forms and artworks, weaving deeper meaning. Using a QR code on each spread, a song relating to the work creates new and unexpected attachments to the artworks. Incentivised by adding a ‘big tick’ sticker at each stop, this guide motivates movement, encourages engagement with free public art, and uses ‘bop-tastic’ music to create new memories and connections.
