Amunet is a vintage serif typeface inspired by ancient Egyptian hieroglyphs. Its smooth curves and arcs symbolize the flow of history, balancing classical tradition with modern refinement.The project extends into a resin-covered book, where hieroglyphs, art, and mythology are embedded in amber-like layers, creating a fossilized look.A butterfly, symbolizing reincarnation in Egyptian culture, inspires the theme. As the book opens, stories and characters of ancient Egypt unfold, transforming the typeface into a cultural artifact that preserves memory and legacy.
