Context: DIY(Do it Yourself) is a typeface made by beading. This project explores the intersection of craft and digital design by creating a typeface entirely from hand-arranged beads.Process: Each letter was manually arranged with beads, scanned, and refined to enhance contrast before being converted into a functional typeface. The tactile imperfections preserve the handmade essence while ensuring usability. Results: The final typeface bridges analog and digital design, offering a meditative, slow-making process as a counterbalance to today’s fast-paced digital world.
