Professor Ben Nanzai of the Non-Equilibrium Interfacial Chemistry Laboratory at the Japanese university ‘Shizuoka University of Science and Technology’ asked me to brand his laboratory. In Professor Nanzai's research, a chemical reaction at the interface between a liquid (oil) and a liquid (water) causes an imbalance in the interfacial tension and flow along the interface. His research focuses on the application of this spontaneous interfacial convection.
