Floating in the serene Seto Inland Sea, Gogoshima Island in Ehime. Prefecture is home to "GOGOSHIMA PAIRING BEER," crafted from the island’s fruits and grains, offering a new approach to alcohol pairing. The layered packaging of the sleeve and label visualizes the concept of "pairing." The sleeve features cutouts, while the label depicts a map of Gogoshima that resembles meat fibers, fish patterns, and vegetable veins. When overlapped, they complete visuals of "meat, fish, and vegetables." The design symbolizes various pairings - food and beer, island and ingredients, creators and consumers.
For us, design is about sharing what brings us joy. Through the act of making that is design, such as graphic, editorial, signs, and corporate identity design, we had the opportunity to encounter amazing people as well as projects. Not a single one of them, however, could have been completed solely by us. Design takes shape through the collaboration and the words that are exchanged with many other people. We want to share in that joy too. This is what we believe design to be.
