"Archetypes" is a project that explores the symbols of my homeland, the island of Capri. Elements such as rocks, the sea, and the moon are disembodied and isolated as primordial symbols. “Archetypes” is a symbolist research that interprets reality beyond the boundary of our space/time dimension. Darkness allows me to interpret reality as a painter, creating impossible dialogues between earth and sky, the rocks and shadows, I alter the state of nature and evoke memories of the metaphysical world from which we were torn apart when conceived in the flesh.
