Branding for SF based craft beer. Inspired by the dokkaebi, a shape-shifting Korean folklore creature, the focus was to create a distinct logo & visual identity highlighting the playful spirit of the dokkaebi and Korean influence behind the brand. The dokkaebi's spirit is communicated through a set of faces with no distinct body form – rather having the face take form of the object it inhabits. The packaging is separated into experimental (white labels for a clean look synonymous to its “carte blanche” flavors) and core brews (color labels with unique design pulled from Korean folk art.)
