Wapusk means Polar Bear in Cree language (North American native nation). This is North Manitoba in winter, where I went for a unique and rare experience: when mother Polar Bears and their young were emerging from their den for the very first time. This expedition was in extreme cold conditions (-57° Celsius) and as challenging for the photographer as for the photography equipment. But, at the same time, it was also one of the most emotional experiences of my whole life.

Polish-American, living now in France, professional wildlife photographer and great traveler, multi-awarded in different international photography contests, I am travelling regularly all over the world with my husband, trying to capture the wonders and the beauties, but also the fragility of our Planet. In nature, and especially in arctic and cold places, this is where I like to be, and this is where I can express my creativity. Each reportage is always beginning by a careful preparation and study of the species to photograph, their behaviors and places to explore. This is when the dream begin
